President’s Report
- Accepted the August minutes
- Run @ The ☼ II was a huge success
Vice President’s Report
- Chris reminded us of the upcoming T.E.A.C.H. program
- Kevin read Tom Bracci’s thank you for the fruit basket that CART sent him
- Bob D also read Sue French’s thank you to CART for her fruit basket
Treasurer’s Report
- We made a profit at Pocono North
- Lost money on the Lime Rock track day
- CART received a 500 dollar donation from the Vietnam Veterans in Milford.
- All bills are current
Activities Director
- Bob gave thank you’s to all Mohegan volunteers
- Also gave a HUGE thank you to Mark Brown
- Discussion was raised concerning the “flagger” idea used at Mohegan and whether or not it would be wise to use the idea at future autocrosses
- Autocross dates remaining: Sept 30 (cancelled), October 14, October 28
- T.E.A.C.H. is planned for October 27, 2012, at Corbin Russwin in Berlin
- We are still working on getting the monitor in the back of the trailer working
- Discussion was also raised regarding the bumping process currently being used. More decisions will be made over the off-season
- We need to start discussing the annual Banquet date
- Some trailer maintenance also needs to be done over the winter
Chairman of the Board
- No meetings were held recently
- A meeting will be held in October to discuss the by-law change, as well as a few other issues
Merchandise
- Not much activity
- We sold a hat.
Old Business
- Details on the MG Rally:
- 82 miles long
- Poker Rally
- $30/car
- Prizes
- Date: November 3rd at 11:00am
- First car off at 12:00pm

- The Berlin Deputy Chief will be present at the T.E.A.C.H. program, along with the traffic “Convincer” which is an education tool to simulate a hard impact stop in a vehicle
- We need T.E.A.C.H. volunteers!!!

- A motion was made and accepted to give Mohegan Sun 1000 dollars
- CART will be giving Mark Brown a free track day of his choosing for all the time and effort he has donated to the club in working out the 2 Mohegan Sun events. THANK YOU MARK!
- Jim Jaffe brought up discussion regarding the T.E.A.C.H. event as a charitable event. More discussion will be made during the Board of Director meeting.
