Price: $3000 OBO
Contact: message me through the forum and we'll go from there
Mileage:
I'm selling my '86 XR4ti.
I've had the car for a few years and have done so many things to it I don't know where to start. So I guess I 'll start with a list of things I've added to it (in order that they pop into my head):
T5 transmission.
Adjustable Koni shocks (front and rear).
New springs from MC2 (350 lbs front, 700 lbs rear).
Full poly bushings.
MC2 read diff mount.
MC2 nylon steering rack bushings.
Head cleaned and test: not cracks or warping (compression is great in all cylinders).
NGK plugs.
Adjustable cam gear.
Aluminum radiator.
Front mount intercooler and piping.
BOV
PE computer
Big VAM
Grant steering wheel.
Volt gauge.
Coolant temperature gauge.
New engine mounts.
Custom 2 piece drive shaft.
Custom 3" exhaust and downpipe.
Battery moved to rear hatch area.
16" wheels (mustang wheels I think)
Falken Azenis
I know I'm missing stuff so feel free to ask questions and I'm sure I'll be adding to the list.
Other info: I removed the interior, cleaned everything and put down new sound deadening material. I have all the interior pieces I just didn't put everything back in. The drivers seat is a cloth seat from another XR as the stock seat was broken when I bought the car.
I got this car a few years ago and made changes to it mainly for auto-x'ing and basically to improve the handling/performance. Up until today the car was registered and it recently passed the CT emissions tests without a problem.
It runs fine and I wouldn't hesitate to take it anywhere. The seals in the master cylinder need to be replaced, but the car brakes fine (I have a working MC that will go with the car too.)
I also have some extras to go with the vehicle: roller cam, oil pressure gauge, 4 point harness, another big vam, stock computer, etc
I'm selling the car mainly because I felt it was time for a new project (bought an '86 MR2 to work on next).
Please don't hesitate to ask any questions and if you like the car but not the price make and offer.
Anyway here's some pics (hopefully they show up)

The good news is it's staying within CART and there may actually be enough CP cars in 2010 to have a class that doesn't get bumped to XP every event.
I won't disclose who the new driver is though..... |

I'm very happy the car is staying within the local "family" that we love so much.
I have a funny feeling i'll be seeing that car fairly soon... |

| Yes you will be seeing quite a bit of her this Winter I think. So far I've just been trying to clean it up a bit, but there is plenty more to do. |
