Hello everyone, got a question and this seems like a good place to start.

I don't believe that I know anyone on this forum, or that is part of CART.
I have filled out the membership info, and sent in me fees, however, i don't know anyone here that i can have sponsor me as a member.

I'm sure there is a good reason to have this rule, but i'm unsure of how to get around it.

I sent in my info nearly a month ago, and have heard nothing since.

You need to attend a meeting to get voted in. You can ask for a sponsor at the meeting.

Where is the meeting, i see it's on April 11th, but i can't see where it is.

does anyone take bribes? lol

The meetings are at Ninos in Waterbury...third Wednesday each month. Location is listed on this site under meetings in the main page. And yes we take bribes...I mean inducements or donations.

Sponsor's requirements = No capital felonies within the past week / all communicable diseases under containment / And a car that goes slower than mine!

who do i contact for a refund?
I thought that i could join up, beat on my cars a bit, and have a good time. Didn't realize that i'd have to attend meetings, get voted in and all. I just don't have time for all of that, i run 2 businesses and track days and sunday autox days are about all i can handle, not interested in the points, and rankings, i just like to beat on my cars.

You only have to attend one meeting to be voted in. After that, it's all just renewals. If you're going to run more than 6 autox, the discount will offset the membership fee. If you still want a refund, email cartctweb@yahoo.com and I'll forward the info to the people that handle membership. I would still reccomend going to a meeting: the food at Nino's is great.

Don't exaggerate, but a few things are great, like the escarole and beans.
