| As the title states, 8.8 Ford 28 spline rear diff for sale. Out of an 89 Mustang GT. Needs to be rebuilt (clutches are fried) but otherwise should be good. Looking for about 70 bucks. |

The plan:
Front caliper upgrade (from 60mm to 73mm single piston)
Front brake ducts
Large(r) front air dam
Thunderbird (wider) rear axles (should fit, but no guarantee right now)
Thunderbird rear disk brakes
SVO master cylinder
Adjustable brake proportioning valve
Hawke pads at all 4 corners
New DOT legal rubber (woo!)
Maybe a new seat and steering wheel if I can afford it
Basically, trying to wring the very most out of the woeful stock style brake system. I don't care if I can't stop much shorter, I just want to be able to stop more than twice before the brakes decide to force me to trail brake when I don't intend to.
I've also got 3.55 gears and some other stuff that came with the axle I got, but I like my 3.08s since I drive to events, so those will probably go for sale once I get them out of the old axle. |
