USER SETTINGS
You can adjust your default settings by clicking on the "Profile" link at the top of this page. You will find the following settings & preferences:

• change your email or password
• enter additional contact information
• enter other personal details such as occupation or interests
• private message notification (on or off)
• choose your default forum view (threaded or flat)
• set your timezone [choose "GMT - 5 hours" for EST]
• upload an avatar (small image that shows up when you post a message)

FINDING NEW POSTS
When you sign into your forum account, you will notice a little icon next to each folder that looks like this: [img]http://www.cartct.com/board/templates/subSilver/images/folder_big.gif[/img]
Folders with new posts are marked like this: [img]http://www.cartct.com/board/templates/subSilver/images/folder_new_big.gif[/img] When you click to open the folder, each individual topic is also marked with either a Checkered Flag (old post) or flashing NEW (new post). This will help you find new posts that you have not read yet.

You can also click on the "View posts since last visit" link on the top right of the forum. This will show you new posts since your last visit, listed in descending order by time & date.
