NOTICE!!! There is going to be a $50 surcharge if you have not signed up for an event 2 weeks prior to the event.
NOTICE!!! We are currently attempting to secure a Lime Rock date for 2008. Our June 5 event was canceled by Lime Rock due to track paving.
What is Circuits Maximus ? For the first time in the history of the Connecticut Autocross and Rally Team, we will be holding a track day event on all THREE Pocono road courses: North, South and East. We will also be running a time trial on the North and East course, with a Team Relay event on the North course. During a lunch break, a parade lap of the NASCAR Tri-oval will be run. You asked for something different, we listened. The result: CIRCUITS MAXIMUS
SPECIAL NOTICE: Occasionally the tracks notify us of open dates on a short (5-7 day) notice which we can hold non-scheduled Track Days. If you would like to be notified when a non-scheduled event is being considered, please register at our Special Form.
We have reserved a limited block of rooms at the Best Western Inn at Blakeslee, PA. Call (570) 646-6000 and ask for the rooms reserved under the code of Conn Auto Cross. We have also reserved a block of rooms at the Blakeslee Inn in Blakeslee, PA. Call (570) 646-1100 and ask for the rooms reserved for CART. Space at both hotels is limited, be sure to make your reservations in advance.

Schedule for CIRCUITS MAXIMUS
Tech and pre-registration is at the Best Western Blakeslee on Sunday September 28.3:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Track and tech opens at 7:00 am
Registration is 7:00 am to 7:45 am
Driver’s meeting at the gas pumps at 8:00 am
First car out at 9:00 am
Sessions end at 12:00 pm for lunch
Parade laps at 12:30 pm
Time trials start on 1:00 pm
South course is open from 1:00 pm on. Drivers will time trial on one course (North or East) and go to the other course when done. Drivers who don’t wish to participate in time trial are free to drive on the South course.
Relay will start on the North Course at 4:00 pm. Teams must be lined up and ready for the drivers meeting at 3:45 pm at the pit in pit wall, away from the cars. Teams must present their final roster to timing by 3:00 pm.
Open track on all courses after the relay.
Trophy presentation at 5:00 pm, you must be present to win.
NOTES:
1. * Practice sessions consists of approximately 20 cars each. When we say 20 cars each, that means that there will be 20 cars out on the track at one time. We have many slots open so register now!
2. Novices - This is not a school but instructors are available with limited availability at no extra charge.
3. Corner Workers - We welcome volunteers as corner workers. If you would like to volunteer to be a corner worker, E-mail Jay Bode

TEAM RELAY POCONO ONLY: DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO WIN THE BILL EVANS TEAM RELAY PERPETUAL TROPHY?
How will it work? Each team will be assigned a Team number (1-10) and will be assigned a starting time. Team one will start first then two etc. etc. . . . All rules that apply to the practice sessions apply to the team relay. Breaking said rules constitutes disqualification. First team to cross the finish line wins.
Up to 10 teams can participate. Five drivers make a team. Anyone participating can submit a team. A driver can be on one team only.
A team roster shall be turned in by 11 a.m. or you may be assigned a team by the organizers. Team List should include the team Manager and the car number/Make/Model/ name of each driver. Each team must pick a team manager. The manager shall select the order in which each driver will compete.
If more than 5 teams sign up, there will be two relay groups and a runoff for the winner of each section. The run off will be 15 laps, three laps for each driver. At the year end banquet, the Bill Evans Team Relay Perpetual Trophy will be presented to representatives of the overall winning relay team.
