2006 Time Trial Classes
This year the Connecticut Autocross & Rally Team, Inc. has adopted new Time Trial Classes. For all of those with lap records using the old classifications don't worry we are going to archive those records and keep them available on the website so you can show your grandchildren someday how you used to be fast.
The new Time Trial Classes are based on the SCCA SOLO II classifications with the following exceptions. STS, STU, STX, SM and SM2 cars will be classed into the appropriate remaining classes, such as Stock, Street Prepared, Prepared and Modified. Running non-DOT approved tires will put you into a Prepared or Modified class.
Because of insurance regulations no Karting classes will be allowed and no one under eighteen years of age may compete in any class. Open cars must have an SCCA or CART approved roll bar and/or the factory hardtop no matter the class. Trucks (other than racing trucks), SUVs and motorcycles are not allowed.
