Awards History
CART has a rich history of many members who have made their mark on the community. In honor of just a few of those pivotal figures in the clubs past accolades have been given to members who exhibit the spirit of CART.
Bill Evans Autocrosser of the year award
Bill Evans was almost a founding member and was very passionate about the club and racing in general. He brought more drivers into autocrossing than any other member henceforth the Bill Evans AX oTY award.
Brian Moran Fastest Time of the Day award
Brian Moran was another dedicated member of both CART and FCSCC but I believe loved this club more.
He was a great driver and instructed and taught more members the fine art of car control than I can count.
He was the recipient of AX FTD's at virtuously every event, that's why his name is on that award.
Pete Day Worker of the Year Award
(#24 Retired but Resurrected by Bob Dorian with permission from Petes wife Sandy)
Pete Day had a habit of being everywhere every time when there was a task at hand. He was a personal friend of mine as well as a mentor. his hands touched every job and always had a smile on his face and a helpful word of encouragement, He was a fan of every cocktail I ever made for him. Even the time we went to church a bit "HAPPY" after a trailer work party.
